What storage does
Cookies travel with matching web requests. Local storage remains in that browser until removed or expired by the application; session storage normally lasts for the tab. Native secure storage protects the app's authentication material. A technology's name does not determine whether consent is required: purpose and necessity do. We separate strictly necessary storage, a function you explicitly request, optional preferences, analytics and personalised advertising. Optional categories start off. Rejecting them does not block ordinary browsing or the account's necessary functions.
Necessary and requested functions
Authentication, CSRF protection, consent-choice storage and security controls support the requested service. The current web session has an eight-hour rolling lifetime, subject to earlier sign-out or revocation. A deliberately selected language or theme and a submitted operation's temporary recovery reference support your specific request. A recovery reference may contain the operation identifier, resource and account/session scope, not permission to repeat a payment. It must not expose authentication secrets. Such records end on their defined resolution, scope change or expiry. Choosing a functional control is not consent to unrelated analytics.
Optional choices and withdrawal
Use the consent banner to accept all, reject non-essential storage, or select individual categories. No optional category is preselected. Reopen Cookie settings from the footer to change the decision; withdrawing removes consent-dependent local records controlled by our storage authority and prevents future writes for that category. Server-side records and third-party cookies follow their own lawful deletion process. You can also remove site data in the browser, which may sign you out and cause the banner to appear again. Blocking essential storage can prevent login or reliable recovery.
The consent record identifies its decision time, consent format and legal notice version. We ask again when the applicable notice/consent version changes or the choice expires, at most 13 months after the decision. A notice change is not consent. Analytics and advertising code must independently respect the current choice; hiding a banner alone is not enforcement. Marketing email, push permission, personalised advertising and OS tracking permissions are separate controls. Public Aurora and GeoPet remain off; cookie consent does not activate them.

The table below is generated from the same storage registry used by application writers. It lists each active key, mechanism, purpose, classification and duration in the selected language. Secure/host-prefixed variants of an authentication cookie have the same purpose. Provider-hosted sign-in, payment or social pages may use their own necessary cookies and notices; visiting our page does not constitute acceptance of optional cookies on those services.
